Class Dojo

8D are using Class Dojo as part of their reward system to encourage positive behaviour. As each student receives 5 positives they receive a positive memo. Positives in class dojo are given for respect, knowledge, unity, attempting all tasks, on time ready for class, participation, bringing equipment, homework and finishing tasks on time. Students can, however, receive negatives which reduce their overall score. Negatives are given for disrespect in class, calling out, out of chair, being sent out of class, incomplete work, late to class, no homework and disrupting others learning. At the end f each week students can see how they have scored and what behaviours they have scored positives and if they had any negatives. Many of the students have scored very well so far. We are looking to involve parents so they can get a report for their child each week.
